Artist Statement

I'm Audrey Zimmerman, a senior at Blue Valley West, and I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. In my photography I try to look for candid images and focus on rule of thirds. In my small time alive, I have realized the most beautiful things are the ones that are not forced.

Architecture Photo

I really love this image for the fact that it is a place I go to often, and the positioning of the Crossroads sign.

Burned Image

This was probably one of my favorite process, because well, I got to burn something.

Portrait

I took this with my friend Lindsey Locke, and it probably was my favorite roll, due to the fact we both took photos of each other and spent time with eachother.

Solarized Image

This image is actually of a staircase, I took by Union Station. And by the process of solarization it turned into this.

Toned Image

Another image of Kansas City, I love this toned image because it makes this photo look vintage.

Hand Colored Image

My hand painted image! Love her so much, she is one of my favorites because I could use another art form to help enhance my photo.

Reflection Photo

I love this photo, because it includes my friend and the fact that you can see her clearly is amazing to me.
